Hullo y'all. Yes, it's that time of year again - the time where we tell you where we're going to put on our annual panto, when it's going to be performed and what the damage'll be to your wallets. So, if you're ready strap yourself in and read on...
This year, for PDC Panto 2022, we're going to be performing the Alex Jackson-scripted "Dick Whittington." We can reveal that there'll be Dick(!), Tommy the Cat, a Dame, at least one Rat...and maybe even a shark. Mayhem, as you might guess, shall ensue from the outset...but that all part of the pantomime vibe, isn't it?
But, for the first time ever in PDC Panto history, we'll be taking the panto outside Perth - the opening night will be held at Kinrossie Village Hall on the 3rd December at 7pm. This is something that Perth Drama Club have been wanting to do for some time and, after our success touring with our plays earlier this year, we decided to branch out. So, any of you in the environs of Kinrossie...we'd encourage you to come along on 3rd December at 7pm for a wee bit of Perth Drama Club Panto magic. But fear not, those who live in Perth - we haven't forgotten you. After a week of recuperation we'll be kicking off our weekend run of "Dick Whittington" at St Matthew's Church, Tay Street on Friday 9th December at 7pm. We'll have two shows on Saturday 10th December at 3pm and 7pm, followed by a final performance on Sunday 11th December at 3pm.
Tickets are priced at £10/adult, £5/junior (5yrs-18yrs) and £22/family. We're reliably informed that a Family Ticket is for 2 adults and 2 children *or* 1 adult and 3 children. Tickets can be purchased from Concorde Music, Scott Street, Perth or via the Ticketsource website.
We've also posted about this on Facebook Events, Twitter and Instagram.
